Invest in a fitness watch!

Invest in a fitness watch!

Just a few of the benefits to having a fitness watch strapped to your body below:

  • See how many steps you’ve taken so far.
  • Many watches feature a reminder to get up and stretch after a specified time.
  • Set daily goals.
Veggie Sandwich!

Veggie Sandwich!

Be sure to toss in a veggie sandwich here and there.

Skip the lunchmeat and just pile up your favorite and healthy stuff straight out of the produce aisle!!…

Don’t take a pill – take a hill!

Don’t rely on chemicals and pills to keep your health in line.

Ok you don’t need to own mountain climbing equipment like the picture shows!

Even a run up the stairs is good for your cardiovascular system and gets your heart pumping!

Beware “Fat-Free”

fatfreeFat-free food sounds great, no?

NO!

A lot of “fat-free” food is loaded with something else that you need to beware – SUGAR!

Remember to always flip the labels and read what’s on the back – not just on the front.…

Water it down

Are you drinking your calories?

Lots of drinks have a LOT of sugar.

Don’t drink soda? Drink fruit juices? (OJ, cranberry, etc)

Those are also really HIGH in sugar.

Keep the heavily sugared drinks down to a small portion.

If you’re thirsty, go for a big glass of good ol’ H2O.…

Recently diagnosed with Diabetes? Don’t have a “few regular meals” ….

I didn’t wait to have a few “regular meals” after the diagnosis.

I changed my eating that SAME night. You should also do this approach.

I highly recommend that you change your diet ASAP. It’s not as bad as you think and a NECESSARY part of Diabetes recovery.…

Don’t diet….Meal plan instead!

Remember the first 3 letters of the word “Diet” – DIE!

That’s how you may feel after being on one of these.

A good balanced nutritional plan is what you’ll need to be able to sustain and enjoy effective weight loss.…

Beware…..Extreme!

The show Extreme Makeover may be fun to watch but there’s nothing fun about your body trying to handle extreme diets.

In fact they may be very harmful and counterproductive to your weight loss.

Yes you make lose 5lbs in 2 days, but at what cost?…
